Enjoying the summer while it lasts....
William helping out at The CourtsA fun day with Grandma and Grandpa today and a ride in their new car to see some cows. We got a big booklet from GOS all about BMT and stuff which has made me feel sick scared to read but we also have Netty, our Clinical Nurse Specialist's e mail (if I can decipher her writing) now so we can send her our daft questions which I am sure she will enjoy reading over a coffee and chocolate hobnob. A doctor from Bath also rang today to let me know Williams blood results, which was good, even though I already knew them..I wonder whether that's what junior doctors do on their first day?

I also got the link to your website via David's website. My son Baden also has Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome. We live in Canada, but I was born and raised in West Bromwich (yes I am a long suffering Baggies fan!). Baden was born on Feb 6/03, he was diagnosed in May that year and then received his transplant in August at the age of 6 months. I can relate to the anxiety you feel about the transplant. I remember those days. Our Baden is now a thriving 4 year old. He has some minor issues relating to the transplant but overall it is great. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Hello All,
William is such a little cutie, Tasha has been keeping me up to date with his news, so its nice to finally see a photo of him.
